My personal mission is to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through the Team in Training Program and participating in a Half-Ironman Triathlon (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run). The money raised through this program will be utilized for leukemia research and patient assistance programs.

I am training on behalf of two family members, my Aunt Donna, whom I never had a chance to meet as Leukemia took her life before it was time, my cousin Melissa, who, with programs like this, has survived and is a healthy active woman.
